Baked Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wingettes
  • 1 cup flour
  • Cooking oil
  • 1 cup Frank’s hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Spices to taste

Steps

 

Preheat the oven to 440 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine the wingettes and the cooking oil in a large bowl, and toss.  Once the wingettes are coated, put the flour into a ziploc bag and add the wings, and shake the bag until the wings are coated with flour.

Place them onto a nonstick baking sheet or one sprayed with cooking spray and put them in the oven for twenty minutes.  Remove them, flip them over, and return them to the oven for another twenty minutes.

While they cook, combine the hot sauce, butter, lime juice, and spices into a small saucepan, and cook over low heat until the sauce is warm and the butter is melted.  Once the wingettes are fully cooked, toss the wingettes in the sauce in a large bowl until fully coated, remove, and serve hot.  I recommend blue cheese dressing on the side.
